All my WIP's are too in progress to post. In the meantime, here's a series of photos I took on an 11 hour train ride to New York this spring (which is my preferred method of transportation):
The month the fireplaces begin their work

How is it October already? Geeeeeez. I'm writing this entry from the gloomy depths of an old character home (too lazy to switch on lamps). These past few months have been crammed with adventure. I went into the woods for two weeks and focused on writing and shrubbery rummaging. Not blog entries, of course, but something TOP SEKRUT.
When I emerged freshly bitten by forest mosquitos and smoked by evening fires, I hopped on a plane to Vancouver and joined my friends for an epic trip through some US deserts.
Three weeks and a broken collar bone later, I'm back in Montreal. The 30 degree weather is ova *sob* and the leaves are changing. I am freaking COLD.
Recently an envelope arrived with a letter inside telling me that I will be receiving a handsome grant to complete a short film I had started and placed on the back burner....spectacular news! Honestly, I was so shocked, I read the first line of the letter incorrectly and was certain it was informing me that I didn't receive it.
So, for the next six months, I'll be found strapped to my computer with many gurus in hand, modeling, texturing, lighting, animating and rendering my very bones away. Ima try to post WIP's as much as possible.
Peace out for now, my glorious buddies.

Health: Completed, at long last.

I've been running around the planet, not leaving much time for painting or projects in general. Exploring Swiss gardens, Greek islands and the mysterious Nuraghe of Sardinia, Italy. I've also been in Boston, New York and San Francisco with a quick stop in Vancouver along the way. 2010 seems to be a year of travel for me...and it doesn't end here!
I FINALLY FINISHED THIS:
I thought the day would never come. Just so you know, that is me, peering out at all of you.

Slowly chipping away...eating great breakfasts.
Tomorrow will be 38 degrees with the humidity.
I've placed a kiddie pool in my living room.
The cat enjoys it.
Enter Alces alces.
5.04.2010
I blocked out this random scene tonight that comes along a bit later in the short film I'm working on. I find that I absolutely NEED to switch it up between scenes, in order to not toss myself over the freaking railing. I get bored and frustrated, focusing on one scene for too long. So I slapped on some portal lights, irradiance particles, a bit of color and minimal texture to get a feel for the tattered/grungy, slightly Victorian room that this will eventually become!
Stay tuned for more updates. This WIP shall experience many shifts.
